Day 1: Arrival at Paro and drive to Thimphu (65 KM / 2 hours drive)
Day 2: Thimphu-Punakha (72 KM / 3 hours drive)
Day 3: Punakha-Paro (142 KM)
Day 4: Hike to Tiger’s Nest
Day 5: Exit

Day 1: Arrival at Paro International Airport and drive to Thimphu, capital of Bhutan. It is two hours drive and located at 2,300m above the sea level.
Settled in the hotel at Thimphu and visit Folk Heritage Museum; Painting School; Sangay handicraft shop, lying below the painting school; Changangkha Lhakhang and Motithang mini zoo after lunch. After 5 pm visit Thimphu Tashichho Dzong and experience the true leisure like any ordinary Bhutanese in the main streets of capital and retire for the day.

Day 2: Early breakfast in the hotel and head for Punakha en route Dochula pass. Punakha is 77 Km away from Thimphu and it is approximately 3 hour drive. Punakha is at 1200m above the sea level. On arrival at Lobesa hike to Chhimi Lhakhang, popularly know as the temple of fertility built in the 13th century.
Lunch at hotel and visit Punakha Dzong. Then hike towards Khamsum Yuelay Namgyal Chhorten which is located amongst the pine forest overlooking the valley of Hebesa and Kabesa at a distance.
Spend the evening at Khuruthang town and rest in the hotel in Punakha.

Day 3: Early breakfast in the hotel and drive back to Paro. On arrival settle in the hotel and then visit Paro Ringpung Dzong, Kichu Monastery, Drugyal Dzong and Druk Chhoeding Monastery.
Spend the evening visiting the local shops in Paro. Overnight at hotel in Paro.

Day 4: Early breakfast in the hotel and drive to the base of Taktsang monastery to hike to the famous Tiger’s Nest built in 1694. It lies at 900Ft above the main Paro valley. An uphill climb for three hours will take you to the place you will find worth sweating for.
Evening time in the Paro town and overnight at hotel in Paro.

Day 5: Early breakfast in the hotel and drive to Paro International Airport to board your flight for your onward journey to BKK/KTM/DEL/CCU.
