Day 1: Arrival at Paro and drive to Thimphu (65 km /2 hours drive)
Day 2: Thimphu-Punakha (77km / 3 hours drive)
Day 3: Punakha-Phobjikha
Day 4: Phobjikha-Wangdue
Day 5: Wangdue-Paro
Day 6: Hike to Tiger’s Nest
Day 7: Exit
Day 1: Our representative will receive you at Paro International Airport with traditional khadhar and drive to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. It is 2 hours drive and the place is located at 2,300m from the sea level. On arrival get comfortable in the hotel and after lunch visit National Memorial Chhorten, Changangkha Lhakhang, Painting School and Motithang Mini Zoo. After 5 pm visit the main courtyard of Thimphu Tashichho Dzong and thereafter spend the evening in the main town of Thimphu. Overnight at hotel in Thimphu.
Day 2: Early breakfast in the hotel and drive to Punakha en route Dochula pass located at the highest point (3500m). From the pass one can see the Eastern Himalayan mountain ranges including the highest peak of Bhutan, Kula Gangri on a clear day.
On arrival at Lobesa, hike to Chhimi Lhakhang, lunch will be served at hotel in Punakha. After the lunch visit Punakha Dzong and there after hike to Khamsum Yuelay Namgyal Chhorten.
Evening time to be leisurely spent in the main town of Punakha and overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Early breakfast in the hotel and drive to south of Punakha towards the valley of Shar. Visit Wangdue Dzong and hang around in the town of Wangdue for 30 minutes and then drive to Phobjikha, the winter home land of the Blacked Cranes.
Overnight at hotel/farm house in Phobjikha.
Day 4: Breakfast in the hotel and visit to Gangtay Monastery which was built in 17th century. Thereafter go around Phobjikha valley to see the reserved area of Black necked cranes. Lunch in the hotel and in the evening drive back to Wangdue to halt for the night.
Day 5: Early breakfast in the hotel and hike to Matalunchu village through meandering gentle slopes amongst paddy fields. It is an hour’s hike. Lunch will await you at hotel. After the lunch drive back to Paro and rest in the hotel. Then visit Kichu Monastery, Paro Ringpung Dzong and Drugyal Dzong.
Evening in the main town of Paro and overnight at hotel in Paro.
Day 6: Early breakfast in the hotel and drive to the base of Taktshang from where you will hike to the famous Tiger’s Nest. It is three hours hike and one will experience the joy of eternity.
Day 7: Early break fast in the hotel and drive to Paro International Airport to board your flight towards BKK/DEL/CCU/KTM.
