Day 1: Arrival at Paro and halt for the night.
Day 2: Paro - Thimphu
Day 3: Thimphu sightseeing
Day 4: Thimphu - Trongsa
Day 5: Trongsa - Bumthang
Day 6: Bumthang sightseeing
Day 7: Bumthang - Phobjikha
Day 8: Phobjikha – Punakha
Day 9: Punakha – Paro
Day: 10: Hike to Tiger’s Nest
Day: 11: Exit
Day 1: Arrival at Paro International Airport and drive to hotel for refreshment, tea/juice and then visit Paro Dzong and National Museum. Break for the lunch and after lunch visit Kichu monastery and Drugyal Dzong.
Spend the rest of the evening in the main town of Paro and halt for the night.
Day 2: Breakfast in the hotel and start for Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. It is 65km away from Paro and is 2 hours drive. On arrival get some rest in the hotel and then visit the National Memorial Chhorten, Folk Heritage Museum, and Painting School and also visit Sangay handicraft shop which lies just below the Painting School.
Break for lunch and after lunch visit Changangkha Lhakhang, Motithang mini zoo. Enjoy the view of Thimphu from Sangaygang and after 5 pm visit Thimphu Tashichho Dzong. Spend the night at hotel in Thimphu.
Day 3: Early breakfast in the hotel and drive to the base of mountains of northern Thimphu for hike to Tango and Chari Monastery. The two monasteries situated at two adjacent mountains were built in 13th and 17th century respectively. It is 45 minutes drive from the main town. Evening leisure time in the main streets of Thimphu. Overnight at hotel in Thimphu.
Day 4: Early breakfast in the hotel and drive to Trongsa en route Dochula pass, Shar valley and Chelela pass. At a far distance from Dochula pass one can see the eastern Himalayan mountain ranges including the highest mountain peak of Bhutan. The pass is garlanded with splendid 108 Stupas and multi colored fluttering prayer flags.
Then drive to the valley of Shar including the famous Phobjikha valley and Chendibji valley with its own histories. Luch at Chendibji cafeteria and night halt at a hotel in Trongsa.
Day 5: Early breakfast in the hotel and drive to south of Trongsa to see the winter palace of the Second King. It is 45 minutes drive and one will witness the three storied splendid palace with few villages in the vicinity. There after drive back to Trongsa to visit the main temple inside the Trongsa Dzong.
Lunch at hotel in Trongsa and then drive towards Bumthang en route Youtongla pass. On the way to Chamkhar visit Chummey Yathra Centre where one can see the process of yathra production, from pure wool of sheep and yaks.
Overnight at hotel in Bumthang.
Day 6: Breakfast in the hotel and visit Jakar Dzong, Jambay Lhakhang, Kurjay Lhakhang and from Kurjay take a short hike towards Tamshing Lhakhang. Also visit Koenchogsum Lhakhang and then stop for lunch. After lunch drive towards Tang to see the famous burning lake from where Pema Lingpa discovered the hidden treasure of Guru Rinpochhe in 15th century.
Evening leisure time in the main town of Bumthang and halt night at hotel in Bumthang.
Day 7: Early breakfast in the hotel and drive back to Phobjikha, the winter home land of Blacked Crane that flies all the way from Tibet and Siberia. On arrival visit the famous Gangtay monastery, hike across the wide valley of Phobjikha till you reach your hotel. Overnight halt at hotel/farm house in Phobjikha.
Day 8: Breakfast in the hotel and go around the heavenly valley of Phobjikha till lunch. The lunch will be served at hotel in Phobjikha. After lunch drive to Punakha the old capital of Bhutan till 1955. While in Wangdue visit the Wangdue Dzong and then drive towards Punakha for night.
Day 9: Early breakfast in the hotel and visit Punakha Dzong .Drive to Lobesa from where you can hike to Chhimi Lhakhang, popularly know as the fertility temple.
Lunch at Dochula cafeteria and drop by to Thimphu for tea break and in the evening drive to Par. Halt for the night at Paro.
Day 10: Early breakfast in the hotel and drive till base of Taktshang, start the hike to Tiger’s Nest. It is three hours hike and the uphill climb is wide and steep. Luch at view point cafeteria and evening leisure time in the main town of Paro visiting the local shops and dinner will be in the local restaurant in the town. Overnight at hotel in paro.
Day 11: Early breakfast in the hotel and drive to paro international airport to board your flight for your onward voyage to BKK/DEL/KTM/CCU.
